Here’s a chicken-rice casserole that doesn’t get any simpler to make! This really is quick and easy. And delicious!

Yes, you’re thinking rice and you no doubt are thinking you will have to boil it separate to begin with. How can that be quick and easy? Well what if you didn’t have to boil the rice separate? What if you could just toss it right in with the casserole? That’s exactly the case with this recipe!

Here’s what you’ll need to get started:

2 boneless and skinless chicken breasts
1 cup of uncooked white rice
1 can of cream of celery soup
1 packet of french onion packet soup mix
2 chopped onions
water
salt
Pepper

Take your uncooked rice, yes uncooked, and toss it inside the casserole dish, spreading it out evenly.

Next, throw your chicken breast on top of the rice.

Now take your cream of celery and french onion soups, mix them together and add a small amount of water to the mix as well.

Add some salt and pepper and your are ready! Pour the entire mix over the chicken and rice.

Add your onions and toss it in the oven for 2 hours at around 320 degrees Fahrenheit.

Once you open that oven back up, you’ll have an amazing tasting creamy chicken casserole that everyone will find delicious!

This is a very simple way to throw just a few ingredients in a dish, toss it in the oven and a few hours later you have a full on family meal! And it’s really good!
